The Virginia General Assembly session began on January 12, 2022. Our priority: protecting access to essential, time-sensitive sexual and reproductive health care. While we are not hosting an in-person lobby day in Richmond, our legislators still need to hear from us about the importance of sexual and reproductive health care, rights and freedom.

Join PPAV in raising your voice to ensure sexual and reproductive health is protected in Virginia in 2022 and beyond.

The Virginia General Assembly session began on January 12, 2022. While we aren’t gathering in person in Richmond, our legislators still need to hear from us about the importance of sexual and reproductive health, rights and freedom. Will you join me by sending a letter to your Senator, urging them to take ACTION. https://bit.ly/3oIwiQc

The year is 2022 but some want to take us backward. Right now in Virginia, there are several bills filed to restrictaccess to abortion. We know Virginians overwhelmingly support the right to a safe, legal abortion. Abortion IS health care and should be regulated like any other medical procedure. Can you share this link with 5 friends urging them to email their Senator?  https://bit.ly/3oIwiQc

Right now in Virginia, so many anti-abortion bills have been introduced during this year’s General Assembly session. Not to mention the Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General have made moves to roll back our Commonwealth’s entire stance on bodily autonomy. Each of us has a story that can move others to action. Tell your story today. bit.ly/PPAVStorytellers

❌Let’s talk about HB304 introduced by Delegate @NickForVA ❌ This bill is another vehicle for anti-abortion politicians to push misinformation to ban abortion. It targets health care providers who provide safe, legal abortion, threatening them with serious legal penalties. 🎯

⚠️ATTENTION!⚠️ New billsbeing introduced in the Virginia 2022 legislative session target health care providers who provide safe, legal abortion and threaten them with serious legal penalties. Send an email to your Delegate urging them to take action! #VALeg https://bit.ly/3icKIWo

Providing an abortion should NOT be a prison sentence. ❌❌❌ But here in Virginia, politicians are attempting to criminalize medical providers for helping people exercise their right to control their own bodies.

Bills like HB304 are intended to scare people and stigmatize reproductive health care and those who need it. Join me in saying NO to #HB304.⛔

While most Virginians support expanding access to the care people need, @NickForVA and @AmandaChaseVA are playing politics with people’s health care by introducing abortion bans.🚫 #BansOffOurBodies #VaLeg

Remind legislators that decisions about health care should be made in an exam room -NOT in a hearing room‼️‼️ Senator: https://bit.ly/3oIwiQc Delegate: https://bit.ly/3icKIWo

Dear [Tag Legislator], please support @PPAVirginia’s 2022 legislative agenda to protect access to sexual and reproductive health care. #BansOffOurBodies  https://bit.ly/PPAVLeg

Everyone has a right to access sexual and reproductive health care, including preventive screenings, testing, safe abortion and contraception when they need it.

Dear, (Tag Legislator), We should be expanding access to health care right now, not restricting it. Abortion is health care. -Citizens of Virginia
