This election season Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin is going door to door talking to our neighbors about the importance of electing strong candidates as part of our campaign to restore, protect, and expand reproductive rights. PPAWI canvassing is great for new canvassers as well as seasoned volunteers. We provide a full training and no one canvasses alone. Exact location provided upon registration.

Join the PPAWI table at the annual Walk to Break the Silence event hosted by the Racine Women's Resource Center at Monument Square! We are looking for volunteers to help set up our tabling booth, staff it throughout the event to chat with supporters, share our upcoming volunteer opportunities, and collect petition signatures! The first shift consists of setting up the booth and starting off the event and chatting with supporters, and the second shift consists of taking down the booth and helping restock the table with brochures and swag along with other volunteers or organizer. Changing Hearts and Minds: Conversational Approach Training

Research has shown that knowing how to have genuine conversations about Planned Parenthood and and all the services provided helps people to consider its importance for their friends, family and neighbors in a whole new way. It also increases their likelihood of becoming supporters themselves, even if they don’t agree with certain services.
Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin staff and supporters to learn the Conversational Approach. Rooted in applied psychology, the Conversational Approach is an interactive training giving advocates the tools to have these meaningful conversations and find common ground, so we move forward together. Building confidence to have these conversations, and reach beyond traditional political divides is key, because abortion and reproductive rights aren’t black and white issues.
